St. Elizabeth Hospital

Beaumont, Texas

The renovation and expansion project for the existing hospital aims to enhance patient care and improve the hospital's infrastructure. The project encompasses several critical components, including a new 52,000 square foot state-of-the-art emergency room designed to handle increased patient volumes with improved efficiency, and a 26,400 square foot expansion of the intensive care units on levels 3 and 4. A new main entry will enhance accessibility and aesthetic appeal, serving as a welcoming point with modern design elements and improved wayfinding. Additionally, a skybridge will connect the new tower floors with the legacy floors, facilitating efficient movement of patients, staff, and visitors, while 50,000 square feet of cosmetic upgrades will include modern finishes, updated interior design, and improved lighting and signage, enhancing the overall patient and visitor experience. This comprehensive project is poised to transform the hospital, providing a modern, efficient, and patient-centered environment, ensuring seamless integration between new and existing structures to meet current and future healthcare needs.
