Senior Project Designer
Lane Acree rejoined BOKA Powell in 2019 following an eight-year stint in Shreveport, Louisiana, where he started a small architectural practice. Prior to rejoining BOKA Powell, Lane had been a project designer for BOKA Powell from 2004 to 2011. Over the course of his 17-year career in architecture, Lane has planned and set the design direction for a wide variety of mixed-use, corporate and hospitality projects. He has a unique ability to plan large-scale developments with an eye towards efficiency, “buildability,” and aesthetic impact, drawing inspiration from the form-follows-function philosophy of modernist architecture. Lane’s hands-on approach with the team encourages collaboration and optimized outcomes. He is a registered architect in Texas, Louisiana, and Michigan and also a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
